So I was at Twin Cities PrideFest manning our church booth when this very nice guy came in talking to us and talking about how he was collecting stickers from all the booths and grabbed one of our's (he even had a J-Pride one inside a Star of David already on, but he did say he was a Christian). He then asked us about signing his petition and about how it only gives you more options on the ballot and doesn't determine how you have to vote. The couple with me signed it, and he was too nice and I'd be too much of a jerk representing the church not to, so I went ahead as well. I'm sure the Minnesota Libertarians would get tons of signatures there considering how much of a fuss they made about opposing the marriage amendment too, obviously this guy had a sticker saying to vote no on.

But I probably would've signed it anyway. Having Gary Johnson on the Minnesota ballot doesn't hurt Obama or the Democrats any, nor is Gary Johnson a loathsome person.

The unique misfortune of the Palestinian refugees is that they are a weapon in what seems to be a permanent war...today, in the Middle East, you get a repeated sinking sensation about the Palestinian refugees: they are only a beginning, not an end. Their function is to hang around and be constantly useful as a goad. The ultimate aim is not such humane small potatoes as repatriating refugees.
