What is your opinion on the two amendments I introduced today?

What is your opinion on the two amendments I introduced today?

I like the idea of increasing the amount of seats in the Assembly to five, however, we must be weary of whether or not there will be enough active people willing to serve. I would vote Aye on the amendment, with some hesitation.

The second amendment I'm a little more comfortable with. I like the idea of having a Lt. Governor if someone is willing to serve. I also like Section 3 Article 3 detailing that if the Governor is not active for 36 hours, the Lt. Governor can serve as Governor Smiley I would comfortably vote Aye on the amendment.

Thank you for your answers. Smiley

I will not make any endorsements until I see the entire field. Unfortunately, under the current law, even if we have 5 great candidates, only 3 of them can win, so I have to be careful with endorsements.

I would immediately endorse you but for the utter number of conservative candidates in the region. I'll be looking at my options, but definitely plan on voting for you for now. Smiley

I used to do baseball, football, basketball and soccer in local sports associations, but not anymore. I play lacrosse, football and basketball for fun, though.

The People's Paper checking in,

Friend, what are your views on the current bill on the Dirty South's regional legislature that would allow Mideastern/Midwestern citizens from certain states to vote in DS elections, thereby allowing them to influence the outcomes of its regional elections?

Proponents of the bill claim that it will unite southerners all across the country, while opponents claim it will open the door for anyone and everyone with southern connections claiming the right to vote in the regions' elections.

The People are curious about where you stand and will use what you say when They go to the voting booth.

Thank you.

I think the idea is noble in nature, but I would not support it. There is a reason we have regional boundaries, and those boundaries will not be broken for any reason. Citizens of the IDS are the only people that should be allowed to vote in any election in the IDS, and that goes for any region.

I haven't been making official endorsements lately - but if I were, I would give 20RP12 my hearty endorsement for Mideast Assemblier.

Cheesy Thanks!!

Would you like to know the day you are going to die ahead of time? Why or why not?

I could answer either way. Part of me wants to say yes so I could map out this awesome "going out" type thing. I've always wanted a chance to have dying words. I want my dying words to be something really stupid, but totally symbolic of me. Something like "I shot JFK" or something like that.

But on the other hand, nature should run its course without humans knowing what's gonna happen and when. That's the beauty of life. Nature can create and destroy and I think to try to mess with that is just an all around bad idea.

I guess I'd probably have to say no to the question Tongue Interesting one, though. Made me think.

I haven't been making official endorsements lately - but if I were, I would give 20RP12 my hearty endorsement for Mideast Assemblier.

This is, perhaps, the coolest semi-kind-of-but-not-quite-actual endorsement I have ever received.
