It ensures that if a federal law is being enforced on a region which has passed a law or is engaging in an illegal activity, that the federal officials can't interfere with the functioning of the regional government with regards to all the activities it engages in that aren't in violation of federal law.

Wormyguy's amendment has passed.

I am thinking maybe we should state the enforcement mechanism within the law here, rather then have to create a second statute to do that.

What penalties should we use to enforce this?  What do Senators find appropriate?

What kind of a process do you have in mind for using the Court?

A normal lawsuit by the region if they feel this law is being violated?

What do you mean by a "normal" lawsuit? Is this some kind of injunction? Is there criminal penalties here?
