Now that we know the health care mandate tax is legal, do you think that Small Business owners and individuals will decide to pay the cheaper fines, instead of the more expensive health care premiums?

Some states might opt out of the federal program, according to the SC ruling, but its state residents will still have to pay the federal tax.  So those individuals will be stuck paying federal taxes without getting health care options that won't exist in their state.

Businesses will do what they want to ensure budget survival.  I think more businesses will just pay the fine and let employees fend for themselves by paying for health care out-of-pocket in the state-run exchanges.
