So Wales actually won a game. Against Scotland, so not really an achievement of any kind whatsoever, but hey...

Gareth Bale was really stellar. Gives me Champions League hope for Spurs.

Match of the day for me: Iceland v. Switzerland. Hoping for a Reykjavik upset and a surprise lift into group play. Obviously, it's hard to look past Spain v. France as the "marquee." Hell of a good day of football.

A happy win for Republic of Ireland, despite the quality of opponent; everyone finding Faroe's net...even Faroe themselves lol. Northern Ireland flirting with a surprise over Portugal despite being clobbered in possession and shots (though even in SOT)...Shame for Azerbaijan that they couldn't escape with a draw against Russia.

Biggest result of the day? Annoying Spain and its annoying fans forced to accept a draw. And that, my friends, is the finest of all.
