And allow Israel to have the biggest win of the night, which will probably be our biggest achievement this campaign...

We're up to second place temporarily in our group Smiley

I know it's unrelated but the U-21 Euro playoff round is wrapping up with a flood of goals. Italy is leading Sweden 3-2 in Sweden in the 90th minute and France is down 5-3 in Norway.

Finally a tournament we qualified for (automatically as hosts, but still). I hope we will be able to hold our own.

It's the second half already, and Northern Ireland are still ahead 1-0 against Portugal Smiley

Northern Ireland eke out the draw, which means that Israel will stay in second place until they meet Portugal in March.

Hi there American!

I'm here as a representative of the rest of the world. We make up about 6.8 billion people!

Anyhow, we're just letting you know that we don't all have the same opinions as the average person in the United States. Some of us do share your opinions, and some of us have the direct opposite view!

Now it really isn't so complex, so I'm sure you'll understand that the people of Brazil might have a different view on Iran to the USA.

In fact, their government have A very warm relationship with the people and government of Iran.

Looking forward to the next time you assume your life is everyone's and your news is all the news, your opinions are everyone's and your country is an accurate representation of global thinking!

Sincerely,

the Rest of the World.

Even if this tournament was being held in the US, this still wouldn't be a problem.

The Israeli football and basketball teams have been competing this week with who can be more humiliating.

It's not that humiliating to lose to a good team like Russia away. Of course, compared with the 1994 Qualification campaign.

Yes, but it is when you combine this loss with the home draw with Azerbaijan.
