A long time ago I used to play five-card draw with my dad and grandma. These days I'm strongly inclined to never gamble, and when it comes to cards only play push and gin rummy.

I prefer games of skill like Spades and Hearts.

The unique misfortune of the Palestinian refugees is that they are a weapon in what seems to be a permanent war...today, in the Middle East, you get a repeated sinking sensation about the Palestinian refugees: they are only a beginning, not an end. Their function is to hang around and be constantly useful as a goad. The ultimate aim is not such humane small potatoes as repatriating refugees.

I used to play texas hold'em on line all the time. I was pretty good at one point, but it has been a while since I last played.

Played a lot with friends while in high school. More recently I've played Texas Hold'em, which I'm good enough to survive into the final two or three players even in a big game, but my play kind of falls apart at that point.

You sound like a tight player. As n decreases you have to loosen up, especially with your hand selection.

Yeah, you're exactly right, bullmoose. I'm aware of the problem too, just psychologically, for some reason, it's hard for me to change tacks at that point in the game.
