The Romanian parliament has voted to suspend the country's president, government officials have said.

Traian Basescu has been suspended for 30 days. A referendum on whether to remove him from office will follow.

Ponta doesn't seem so wonderful either unfortunately.

From what my Romanian friends tell me the prime minister side is far worse than the president's (though all are bad).

Again? Shocked

Also, I find this amusing that Romania's Acting President name is "Antonescu" Grin

The world is becoming globalized, but cosmopolitanism is being hijacked by the Davos Man. What choice is left besides nationalism? The thought is terrifying, to be honest.

I just hope Trump doesn't turn into some kind of Berlusconi-esque Teflon man.
