Good job!
Its says on Wikipedia that Jennings Randolph was the
"last surviving member of the United States Congress to have served during the first 100 days of FDR."
So, I guess he'd also be the last man standing from the 1932 class.

in either chamber. He was later a senator. I think in the house, the last guy from 32 was Bill Colmer and the last senate guy was Pat McCarran of NV for whom the airport is named after

1954 HOUSE - Dante Fascell
*cough* no.
Although checking up, Dingell was first elected in a by-election during that congress, not in the general, so maybe you're not counting that as either class of '54 or class of '56.

Ted Stevens took office in 1968. He outlasted both Cranston and Hatfield, so maybe you could put him on there. This is a very interesting list. Glad you made it.

I don't think you can really compare Atlas members to Holocaust deniers, but my first pick would be Kalwejt, along with Franzl, a Person, and Leif.

Seems to be the same quirk as with Dingell.

Good point. Thurmond actually switched parties during the 1964 presidential election, calling himself a Goldwater Republican. He had no trouble winning election as a Republican in 1966 and almost pulled Ernest Hollings down to defeat in the races for the 2 years left on Johnston's unexpired term.
