, although had I been old enough to vote at the time, I would have voted Labor.
2010: Liberal/Liberal
Next: Liberal/Liberal

If I lived in a rural area, however, swap "Nationalist/UAP/Liberal" for "Country" (1918-1974), "National Country" (1975-84), or "National" (1984-)

UPDATE: State/territory voting history (post-Federation only):
Asterisk next to a state indicates I would vote for the Country/National equivalent if I lived in the right electorate.

ACT - Straight Liberal

NSW*:
1901-1913: Liberal Reform Party
1917-1930: Nationalist
1933-1941: United Australia Party
1944-present: Liberal

NT - Straight CLP

QLD:
1901-1908: Conservative
1909-1915: Ministerialist
1918: Nationalist
1920: Nationalist/Country, depending on where I lived.
1923: Same as 1920, except swap Nationalist for United.
1926-1935: CPNP (Country and Progressive National Party)
1938-1941: Country/UAP, depending on where I lived.
1944-1947: Same as 1938-41, except swap UAP for Queensland People's Party.
1950-1980: Country/National/Liberal, depending on the year and where I lived.
1983-1992: Liberal, if no Liberal candidate, than an independent or 3rd party.
1995-2006: National or Liberal, depending on where I lived.
2009-present: LNP

SA:
1902-1906: Conservative

1912-1916: Commonwealth Liberal
1919-1944: Nationalist
1946-present: Liberal

VIC*:
Wikipedia only has the elections going back to 1929, so we can assume before that I'd have voted in a similar manner to other states.
1929: Nationalist
1932-1943: UAP
1945-present: Liberal

WA*:
1901-1911: Ministerialist
1914: Liberal
1917-1943: Nationalist
1946-present: Liberal

1983: National/Labor
1984: National/Labor

ALP in every election, because I'm boring like that. And, yeah, that includes official candidates over Lang candidates in the 30s.

TPP Labor pretty much every time since the first world war. Pre-war, swinging voter, but probably Labor in each of them. Some times my vote would've been up for grabs, particularly the Whitlam vs X and Fraser vs X elections, but I suspect I'd still have gone Labor.

First preferences all over the place, most often minor parties and independents. Just because Labor have consistently been the lesser evil doesn't mean they are or ever were a wonderful option. Maybe I would have voted for them during the DLP era, as an anti-DLP statement more than anything else.

solopop, why would you have voted Liberal in '92 and '96 at the state level? Would you have been/were you angry at Cain/Kirner and company for the state Victoria was in by the early 90s?

I think your economic score makes you an exceptionally poor match for One Nation. They were/are highly protectionist and when asked about funding their election promises, suggested that the Mint "print more money."

Pat Buchanan and Front National are protectionist too. One Nation is fine for me when it comes to the immigration and social issues.

- Eh, I don't like Fraser but would've support the Liberals to stop Whitlam.
- My vote for ALP in 1980 is explained by my dislike for Fraser (which partially stems from his tenure and partially from his post-office hatred of Israel, and apparently Australian Jews...though, I do appreciate the work he did for soviet jewry and his support for Israel during his tenure; certainly better then Whitlam, but an HP at the end of the day, nonetheless).
- Bob Hawke is simply awesome, would get my vote every time
- Straight-ticket liberal/national since then. Prefer Abbott over Turnbull, but...I definitely understand why Abbott was removed, so yea.
