Yeah yeah, there are dozens more I could have put up there, but I didn't want it full of every rivalry the Cowboys have (or the Patriots, Steelers, Packers, etc).  Where is Texas, where are the Packers?  Notre Dame?  Come on dead0, you're better than this!

oh, and pick 2

I care about other sports far less than I care about baseball, so I voted based on that. Obviously ESPN-manufactured rivalries are right out, and obviously the Dodgers are evil personified, so my vote was clear. I voted for it again at the bottom.

Only one of those is ESPN created (I suppose one could make the argument for the Jets/Patsies being ESPN created too), but you have to include the Yanks/BoSox rivalry.  Sure it's the most overhyped rivalry ever, but it's still important, it still old, it still has many millions of fans on both sides.  I certainly wouldn't vote for it.

You forgot Oklahoma Sooners/Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners/Oklahoma State Cowboys.  The entire world takes note when these teams play each other.  They are nasty rivalries.

So, the best American rivalry is not on this list.  Where is the "Other" option?

Sox-Yankees is the obvious one. Ravens Steelers is my favourite. Since Flacco's been in the league nearly every game has been a classic. So many 4th quarter comebacks. Last season's game in Pittsburgh was an absolute advertisement for the game. And how the heck is Packers-Bears and Raiders-everybody not in there?

Only problem with Ravens-Steelers is the officials typically don't have a great game.

I think Eagles-Cowboys is more intense than Eagles-Giants (at least from the perspective of Philly fans).

Cowboys/Eagles games are great to watch, but I'm not sure they're as good as Giants/Eagles.  Considering how long they're rivalry has been, it's a great match-up, except when they knock our QB out of the game..  Of course, the NFC East is obviously the best division in Football, so they're usually good games.

You wish. Wait until the AFC North knocks the crap out of the NFC East.

The entire NFC East is a rivalry gold mine. Recently I'd agree that Eagles-Giants is the best, but Dallas will forever hold a special spot in our bowels. Ravens-Steelers is great too, and then there are all those other lesser sports...

I'm usually a huge fan of Boston-based sports teams, but I can't stand the Patriots. I hate them with all of my heart and soul.

The thing I hate about the Patriots is they're actually a pretty boring team to watch. Bend but don't break defense, and an offense with no big plays but constant methodical drives.

Their 31st ranked defense has gone from sh**tty to sh**ttier over this offseason.
