I didn't take the quiz, but I e'mailed it to my 20-year-old college student daughter, who did take it.  She said her views lined up most with Ron Paul and I forget the rest.

My 16-year-old daughter took it, too, but I don't know how it turned out for her.

My 16-year-old said she lined up with Barack Obama (82%).  But she had to ask a lot of questions like "what was the TARP bailout" and "what is the Patriot Act".

I like how this site maintains the pretense that we live in a multiparty democracy.

Good grief man, you have kids? Grown kids? Girls? The age of 60% of this forum? Your presence on this site just became untenable.

Yeah, really. He probably still wouldn't have even been that high for me back then. But 7% is just too perfect Tongue

Perhaps, but mainly by the old-line method of Republican thought. There is a pretty large discrepancy between the statewide and national preferences of New Hampshire citizens. Namely, they can trust their locally-elected Republicans to be reasonable and moderate, whereas national Republicans are bat-sh!t crazy by New Hampshire Republican standards.

I don't...really believe that. New Hampshire Republicans on the local level are fairly conservative. Far more conservative than I, or Mitt Romney, or most of the congressional GOP. After all, New Hampshire is a no-income tax, no-sales tax state with a government fall smaller than the red state norm.

If anything, the national GOP is considerably more economically centrist than the NH GOP. I'd consider myself fairly close to our Democrat governor, but also far closer to the national GOP than the national Dems, who I find insanely leftist. Of course, most of the Republicans we send to Congress are fairly moderate, but again, I think that's the national GOP working its magic.

Seems that Obama supporters have taken over the poll.

From what I saw, Mitt Romney wasn't even a contender. Many states had Johnson and Obama  within a point of each other. Florida was tied, but Obama's name appeared first.

Obama: (Red) 398 EV
Johnson: (Yellow) 128 EV

Alaska and Hawaii not on the map

Thought I'd add mine to the pile since we're nearing election day:

Gary Johnson - 95%
Mitt Romney - 78%
Virgil Goode - 66%
Barack Obama - 13%

The Romney/Obama split is surprising to me, really.  Didn't think I was that far from Obama on issues.

Also for my Senate district in TN:

Dr. Shaun Crowell (L) - 97%
Mark Clayton(D) - 71%
Bob Corker(R) - 58%

I already voted in the early elections for the Libertarians.
