Obviously, this depends on what the result is: if you vote N. Carolina you see Obama coasting and if you say Wisconsin then Mitt is clearly dominating.

I'm going to be cautious and say Virginia.

It's gonna be either Iowa or Colorado. The Hispanic population cushions Obama in New Mexico and Nevada. There's been a consistent albeit narrow lead for the President in Ohio and Virginia. I think the housing crisis puts Florida somewhat out of reach, and the gay marriage thing will hurt in North Carolina along with lower black turnout. Iowa will be close along with Colorado, but I think Iowa goes for Romney and Colorado for Obama.

Iowa or Virginia. If Romney wins WI then he's already past 270.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm praying for another black-yellow majority, and for the SPD to get shattered.  It's exactly what it deserves.

Colorado and Ohio either one of them can be put either candidate along side Iowa past the 270 vote mark.

Obviously, re the last part.  You'd pick WI if you think the election would be a big Romney win.

I'm thinking either Colorado or Ohio. There's no way to tell at all this far out from the election, of course.

But probably VA/NC.

Yes but I also think the trends in this particular state couldn't be clearer.
