I'm not sure who I'd rank as my "favorites" but I have a great many that I enjoy (especially legendary posters). Contrary to popular belief, there are very few that I really dislike.

I love these threads and hate posting in them at the same time... I always know I'm going forget people. I think there are very few people I actually dislike on here. I have a few posters on ignore but don't actually dislike them, I just find that they have a tendency to empty quote or post a significant number of one-sentence replies that contribute little to discussions, or frequently or massively change their ideology, which to me implies a "look at me" attention-whoring attitude. That sort of thing irritates me but I don't actually dislike them. I crossed swords with Einzige, I don't think I've done that with anyone else. I didn't like him. Anyway, that's a long way of saying what was succinctly stated in the OP: that if you think you belong on my list, but don't appear, I mean no offence, it is probably completely accidental.
I consider some people who hold very different beliefs to me as particularly close friends, whom I respect and appreciate greatly. Earl is the one immediately coming to mind. We're both about as far from centre as one another, but he's such a great guy and I really enjoy interacting with him.
Hugh has gone from being a poster on here to a mate in real life, indeed, one of my best mates. I love catching up with him and going for a few drinks, it's happened too infrequently this year.
I particularly enjoy chatting with The Mikado. We seem to appreciate many of the same things, and he has a brilliant mind, and he's really a great guy.
RogueBeaver is another great guy, I really appreciate him, too, and enjoy his insights into Canadian politics. He also has a deep understanding of Australian politics and sometimes poses questions on Australian political history, which I can't answer.
Hashemite is also good, actually, rather than listing separately, I like all our Canadian posters, including our two new Albertans.
Al is not just exceptionally bright, but also has a real cutting wit. His protege seems to be Xahar in that respect.
Gustaf and Lewis, actually anyone who has played Diplomacy with me -I've thoroughly enjoyed corresponding with each of you while submitting orders each week, and like all of you.
I like Afleitch, he's brilliant.
I've had some thorough debates with Marokai, but I really like him, too.
Antonio and Kalwejt, you are both great. Kalwejt, I especially enjoyed your subway comparison map on Facebook the other day.
Muon2 is amazing - I rarely comment on his posts because he makes me feel out of my depth, he's just so smart (I guess being a professor, he'd have to be. Torie, also. You're so wise, compassionate, and accepting of everyone.
PiT and Lunar, I found you guys quite similar in all the best ways. PiT, you're a thoroughly decent guy and I'm sure you have an amazing future ahead of you.
Polnut is smart, and I enjoyed catching up with him for drinks with Hugh that time.
I'm sure I'm forgetting people, I can't remember who I've already mentioned, let alone who I might be forgetting. My apologies if I've missed you.
Oh, I've enjoyed chatting with TexasDemocrat about Australian politics of late. Oh, and that newer Aussie Green, morgieb, or however his name is spelt.
Edit: I think I missed Deadman.

A discussion with you is always welcome because you're one of the few people I can debate with where both sides are relatively respectful.

I always enjoy debating people with views that are really off, especially opebo, but too a lesser extent Tweed and Free Palestine and such. I doubt their feelings are reciprocal, however. Some people, who are very good analysts or are simply useful, such as Miles (the Democrat from Louisiana) and Tender Branson (the Austrian who posts all the polls) and RogueBeaver (Canada/Australia expert) I like. There are many people I've missed, but then I like most people on this forum and this is just a sampling.

Sometimes, reality has a corporatist-traditionalist bias. Sometimes it has a liberal bias.
