Miliband and Hollande don't make habits of insulting their hosts. In most premodern societies, Romney's behavior in Britain would have gotten him expelled from the country at best.

So Obama should be expelled from Pennsylvania for portraying them as people who cling to their guns and their bibles? Whether or not it's true, he said it in a negative way.

Nice job returning to something that the media took out of context four years ago, but you'll notice that nothing I said in my previous post was prescriptive or normative.

After Romney's cookiegate flap in PA, I eagerly await his comments about British food.

Aren't Brits notorious for their terrible food?

Depends entirely on your taste. I like British cooking a lot better than French cooking, which is excessively fussy and at times wasteful of some of its ingredients, although not nearly as much as Italian cooking.
