Romney is turning into a f***ing parody...

He also says not to criticize Israel.
Because it will win him votes to say he's more pro-Israeli than Obama.

This, unfortunately, will probably also help Romney.

Was it you who first posited the theory that Romney would be our first post-structuralist President?

Rightly or wrongly, the Palestinians don't get much sympathy from swing voters.

Maybe not, but it will energize the Palestinian diaspora to mobilize against Mittbot.

I don't think the Palestinian diaspora is a major voting bloc in most swing states.

You're right, but I think it will also help with Muslims.

While he was at it, of course, Romney took time to praise the Israeli health care system, which features -- you guessed it -- a mandate!
http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/07/mitt-romney-israel-health-care.php?ref=fpblg
So a mandate is good for Massachusetts, and great for Israel, but would be terrible for the US. More needles to be threaded.

I'm not sure if 'endearing' is quite the word I would use though.

Why's Romney wasting his time in Israel? Obama is more popular in Israel than in the US. Romney can forget about Israel's electoral votes.
??
McCain won around 3-1 of the Absentee ballots from Israel
I expect that number to go up for Romney

Israeli health care is good unless you have anything serious.
