I guess you'll keep putting it up to a vote until it finally passes?

I'm not going to be doing anything on the matter. However, if Gass and TexasDem have ANOTHER compromise that they'd like to propose, I'd entertain it. More than anything, I just want to have a constitutional provision requiring that a budget be passed, which I'm sure you would agree would be a good thing.

Assuming there are no restrictions on how the Assembly can budget, yes, I would welcome having one.

I won't vote for anything without a cap. That's stupid. That's essentially what we were doing before... Just now it's one more bill to pass.

Considering it's been the worst kept secret in recent Atlasia history:

I will be running for the office of Mideast Governor in May!

My choice Lieutenant Governor, platform and other information will be coming soon! Smiley

As someone who has had the opportunity to work extensively with Assemblyman Gass3268 over the last six months, I can say with full certainty he is the person I believe would be best suited to handle the issues our region is facing over the next four months. With his strong record on environmental, employment, and education issues, I strongly encourage everyone to cast their first preferences on his behalf! The Mideast needs him as Governor.

I enthusiastically endorse Assemblyman Gass3268 for Mideast Governor.  While it is already shaping up to be a very strong field, I can honestly say that there is not even the slightest of doubts in my mind that he is the right man for the job.  The Mideast needs Assemblyman Gass3268 and I urge all of my fellow Mideasterners to first preference him this May!

After long consideration I have decided to drop out of the Mideast Governor's race and instead run for reelection in the Mideast Assembly. My campaign for Governor never gained any early steam and I don't have the necessary time at this instance to run the campaign necessary for me to even be competitive in this race. At this point I will not be endorsing either candidate, but I know that both ZuWo and Clinton19996 will run a great campaign and both would make great Governors. Lastly I would like to thank Senator Nix, Senator X and Assemblyman Talleyrand for their endorsements and I hope I receive their support in my attempts to earn a 5th term to the Assembly!

Thank you and Dave Bless!

This saddens me. Sad On the other hand, the Mideast is now virtually guaranteed that you'll continue to serve our region, so we're quite lucky.

Your candidacy has made the race for Governor more interesting but I understand your decision. I wish you the best of luck in your campaign for Assembly.

Gass, while I disagree with your decision, I accept it. Your campaign and presence enhanced the debate between the candidates. I wish you luck in your reelection campaign, and enthusiastically endorse you.

In the at-large race? If that's the case, then endorsed!
