Thanks for your endorsement Napoleon.

Also I apologize for my delay in responding to your questions Snowguy716 and President Nix, I had to spend most of the day working on RL school work. I should be able to get you both your answers by tomorrow.

Thank you GM Griffin for your endorsement.

I want to apologize to everyone for my lack of participation in the At-Large Senate campaign. I just finished a summer school class for my Masters program and for our Final we have to write two ten page papers by next Monday. This is after only getting the question prompts this last Monday. This is coming at the worst possible time in terms of Atlasia because its election time and its pretty ironic that my papers are due the day after the election is over.

I would like to thank all my supporters! It looks like I got the most first preferences! Smiley

Also Congrats to Maxwell, Tmth, Napoleon and Xahar on their victories and to JCL and SJoyce on running good campaigns! I'm looking forward to the opportunities the next Senate session will present.

I could be wrong, but you perhaps also received the second most first preferences of any Senator in a regular at-large election.

Third most. Hagrid received 23 votes in April and 24 in December.

Congrats to Mr. X, Siren and Inks on being elected/reelected to the Mideast Assembly. However, it is absolutely horrendous that two trolls in Oldidesfreak and JCL got elected over Njall. Its crap like this that is killing the regions.

So people voting out the guy you liked is what's killing the regions? Good to note.

It's extraordinary that the whole "the current regional system works great" crowd has voted to throw out the most consistently active regional legislator. Disappointing, and frankly unexpected.

I personally could have stated it better, but this is exactly what I met.

Let's keep things in perspective, please. "Troll" Oldiesfreak has introduced the highest number of bills of all Assemblymembers.

Indeed. It's pretty obvious that even the Mideast is no longer healthy.

Or maybe Labor is to blame for failing to bring out their base. Roll Eyes

I mean, let's stop pointing-fingers. Inactivity is a collective issue that we all have to deal with as a country. It's not something to sweep under the rug or blame on someone else. Plus, if you're not satisfied with the results of an election, rebuild for next time. That's how activity picks up. "Competition" can be win-win.

To clarify, I'm saddened that Njall didn't get elected, not that the other candidates did.

Not directed at you. Smiley

Hell, I get why people would be upset too. It's their right. But to try and tie it with the health of the region is just foolish.

Our region is still healthy Gass. It was a close election and sometimes your guy doesn't win. Can you truly determine the health of the region based on wether a certain candidate wins or not? What is your fear of me being a member of the Mideast assembly?

This is a fair point... remember it came down to third preferences. And the original split was 5/5/4/4/4/4.

I am announcing here that I will not be running for reelection as Party Chair or election for any other Politburo position. Also I have chosen not to run for reelection for the At-Large Senate Seat. School and work has gotten crazy and unfortunately I do not have time right now. I'll still be involved and somewhat active, but I don't think I'll run for another position until I'm done with school or school settles down.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me!

Most Serene Representative Gass3268 Reelection Office (Winnipeg, Fidelity)

Today I'm officially kicking off my re-election campaign! I finally have my legislative sea legs back after my first session back in the Midwest Althing after a brief hiatus from public service. I am extremely excited for the future of Most Serene Republic of the Midwest!

I'll now take any questions for those that may have them!
