HA!! As lovely as this is, even PPP has to give us a bone sometimes. In other words, it'll take seeing it to believe it for me.

Having said that, if this is accurate, it's quie the improvement from Obama's 61-38% win over McCain in CT.

This is actually an improvement for Obama compared to the last PPP poll for Connecticut.

If Romney's "moderate northeastern appeal" exists anywhere, it's here.
Not Massachusetts, and maybe not even New Hampshire.

Well even if Romney did have a chance at all (especially with a Rice ticket WOO), Linda would screw up everything -_- why the GOP keeps going to her I do not understand. She's like their drug or something.

Eh, I doubt Romney could even win Litchfield County. I expect his celing to be 40%, which will probably be better than McMahon gets in the Senate race. Connecticut republicans are just getting stupider and stupider.

Interesting, though I reckon Romney's a better fit for Connecticut than Bush and McCain.

Romney's pretty much the perfect Republican candidate for Connecticut. That said, he still won't win, though he has a shot at breaking 45%.

Interesting that the Romney campaign at one time probably thought they could pull a Clinton, and win states that had been solidly for the other side in previous elections. It looks like that isn't gonna fly. Romney doesn't seem to be doing any better in the NE than McCain, with the exception of a few polls here and there. And I guarantee you, Romney will not come anywhere close to flipping CT, as his whole campaign is based on holding on to the south and other solid red states. Once more people start paying attention, every blue state in the Northeast will be a blowout for Obama. I guess it shows how partisan things have become.

Why oh why are they polling Romney/Rice? Wasn't that Drudge gambit pretty much debunked instantly? Huh

Especially in states Romney has no shot of winning.
