Hopefully this Neumann fellow wins. He seems like the worst candidate of the three.

Very frightening.  I hope he can pull it out.

Didn't this guy used to be the Chris Christie of Wisconsin? What happened?

That would be Hovde, I'm afraid. He doesn't like to admit it, but Neumann is just as establishment as Thompson, as one can plainly see by glancing over his embarrassingly long list of established conservative endorsements.

Again, Hovde has an obscenely large pile of money, a set of viewpoints that motivates the base, and a nationwide donation network he can tap into. He can basically solve all of his problems with more cash

Didn't this guy used to be the Chris Christie of Wisconsin? What happened?

He was the political colossus of Wisconsin throughout the 1990s, winning a 3rd term in 1994 and 4th term in 1998 by huge margins.

But that was a long time ago.  Things change, I guess.

I think Thompson could still win, and I hope he does... it would be awful if the GOP snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in this campaign.

I still thank your party for what it did in Delaware, Colorado, and Nevada. Tongue

I just saw on R412 that Walker is apparently considering an endorsement. If true, IMO it'll be Thompson- not Neumann after their 2010 bloodbath and not Fitzgerald who's dead last in the polls.

From the Journal-Sentinel.

Kind of hope Hovde and Neumann don't split the vote so that Tommy Thompson comes out the victor.

I'm actually hoping for Thompson to win the primary here -- Hovde, and to a lesser degree Neumann, would still have a very good chance at winning the general, and I'd much rather have a Lugar than an Inhofe.

Neumann and Hovde keep throwing mud (which for Neumann is second nature, see his purple-faced campaign against Walker 2 years ago) at each other. It might benefit TT.

There was a robo call on the answering machine with Neumann touting the fact the he served with Ryan in congress and how he would work great with Ryan in making amerika conservative again.

Also some bland Tommy Thompson robos.

Well except for the fact that it wasn't an actual endorsement, just the weak sorta endorsement kinda thing. In any case tommy is running a radio ad praising Ryan with that clip of Ryan praising him in it.
