Strayhorn, as she seems to be the moderate hero option.

Strayhorn, as she seems to be the moderate hero option.

Carole Strayhorn is nothing more or less than an unprincipled cancer whose only goal is attention and an office of any nature. Most recently, she was drudged in a three way Austin mayoral election. Finishing third, 5 points behind an relatively unknown city councilman named Brewster McCracken. Apparently, Austinites didn't want the first female mayor of their city back.

To her credit, she's recently remembered who the President of Mexico is.

I can't stand Rick Perry, but I probably would have voted for him anyway.

Kinky

I find it amusing how he reached 20% in the polls at one point.

I'd certainly have voted for Chris Bell, but Friedman was actually decent for such a hopeless joke candidate.

Were you...actually following the race?  Kinky proved to be a total jackass.  Also he insulted me personally when I called him out on the idiocy of his border control policy.  Sad

Chris Bell is the only non-ridiculous option here.

Yeah, that needs clarification. I meant that a portion of his platform was decent relative to what may be expected of a novelty country musician running for Governor of Texas. I don't want to sound as if I'm lauding him; as you've already alluded to, another significant portion of his platform was expectedly a complete disaster.
