Life Starts at Conception Admendment

1. Article VI of the Pacific Regional Constitution  will be admended to say
"The Pacific Constitution states that citizens have rights starting at life and with that, the pacific region believes and states that life begins at conception and the baby is living at that point. Hereby, that stated abortion is illegal except in cases of rape, incest or endangerment of the mothers life.

Yes, this amendment goes way too far. I urge the people of the Pacific to reject this attempt to impose legislated morality on their Region.

I must register disappointment with the recent turn of events. As someone who returned to Atlasia after a period of absence, I can emphasize with the Registrar-General's frustration with attempts to stop him from getting back to work. It would have been preferable, in my opinion, had Mr Talleyrand chosen to work with the Senate and President to clear up any uncertainty over the legal status of the Registrar-General, rather than immediately choose a course of confrontation through litigation, and it regrettable that he did not do so.

But I must condemn, in the strongest terms, the decision of the Registrar-General to deny the public access to the electoral rolls. Such an action, while being of no perceptible use against the claims against him, constitutes a clear and gross abuse of authority that would render the organisation of elections virtually impossible; it is clear from his comments to the Secretary of Forum elections that this is exactly his intent. The Registrar-General may feel harassed by the case against him, but in no way does it justify his actions. I urge the Registrar-General to act responsibly, immediately restore public access to the electoral rolls, and cease holding the nation hostage over his case.

I hope this development does not delay the convocation of the Constitutional Convention, which is by now long overdue. I hope to flesh out more of my constitutional plan in the coming weeks, and present it to my fellow members of the Convention for their consideration, and I hope to take a leading role in moving this country in a new direction.

Finally, I must applaud the Legislative Assembly for their continued work, and hope that their fruitful activity shall continue.

Simfan, I plead that you veto this absolutely garbage bill, subpar even by CLASSIC CONSERVATIVE's standards: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=219691.msg4741353#new.

It would truly be a travesty if this once great region was reduced to having a pledge riddled with grammar mistakes. Not to mention the controversial stances that no pledge should be taking.

To respond to Turkblasiu comments, it's pretty clear that he doesn't like me and I don't like him either, I don't think many people do, tbh. But it does need better grammar updates and it will be worked out accordingly. Mr. Governor I urge you to sign this bill when it gets sent to your desk, sorry but my sender got lost in the hallways. This current laws like the motto and the Sodom and Gommarrah Act are an insult to people of Christian faith. Oh and if he vetoes it we will probably override it.
