Not much has happened lately in this race, really. Dalton launched an "Educators for Dalton" sub-campaign and he's hammering at McCrory for not releasing his tax returns. Dalton also declined his pay-increase from the new Republican budget. Still, no major developments.

McCrory is now flooding all media markets in the state with an extended version of the only ad I have seen him run, talking about "forgetting politics for second" and how "people of both parties made Charlotte an ecomonic powerhouse".

I have seen it at least three times today on NBC 17.

Yeah, I don't watch much TV, but I saw that ad yesterday.
