New Mexico Congressman Martin Heinrich is expected to win a Senate Seat in New Mexico on Obama's coattails.
He seems to be an articulate, intelligent, moderate to center-left guy. Do you think he might have a chance at the 2016 Democratic Nomination. Maybe as a dark horse in the mold of John Edwards 2004 and Barack Obama 2008?

I hope not. I'd rather have a more experianced politician this time around. Someone who knows the Repubs won't compromise at all, and that they will call you an evil socialist.

Well he'd have been in Congress for 8 years; Four in the HoR and 4 in the Senate.
Schweitzer or Warner could be added to a ticket for more "experience".

Schweitzer and Warner are better presidential candidates than Heinrich. He's a VP option maybe, but I'd like him to wait a bit until running for president.
