I'm flattered, sure, but why does everyone think I'd do well as Secretary of Veterans' Affairs?

I wonder if this forum has any regular posters who have lived on a farm.

I live right behind a farm, and farms are all over my area.

Vice President: Winfield (R-RI)

Chief of Staff: jmfcst (R-TX)
Secretary of State: Inks (R-MI)
Secretary of Defense: Clarence (R-FL)
Attorney General: Torie (R-CA)
Secretary of the Treasury: Ag (I-CA)
Secretary of Labor: Realpolitik (O-UK)
Secretary of Education: t_host1 (O-AR)

I would ensure that the last two secretaries work closely together in dealing with the NEA. I would delegate the other choices to jmfcst and Winfield, helping them breakup any disagreements. I would hope that Torie would be my Bobby Kennedy, not my John Dean.

Teh evul NEA! (Not that I'm a big fan either)

Let's try this out. I'll try to fit everyone in.

Secretary of State: Simfan34 (R-NJ)
Secretary of the Treasury: Mechaman (L-OK)
Secretary of Defense: Clarence (R-FL)
Attorney General: Torie (R-CA)
Secretary of the Interior: Angus (R-IA)
Secretary of Agriculture: Tmthforu94 (R-IN)
Secretary of Commerce: Republitarian (R-NV)
Secretary of Labor: TJ in Cleve (R-OH)
Secretary of Health and Human Services: ZuWo (O-SW)
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development: Yelnoc (I-GA)
Secretary of Transportation: 20RP12 (R-PA)
Secretary of Education: Dallasfan65 (L-MA)
Secretary of Energy: A-Bob (I-CO)
Secretary of Veterans' Affairs: Pingvin (C-RS)
Secretary of Homeland Security: Benconstine (D-VA)

White House Chief of Staff: ChairmanSanchez (R-FL)
Trade Representative: Snowstalker (D-PA)

While I originally had Snowstalker at Labor, I had an epiphany and here he is at Trade Representative. I get the feeling that we kinda think alike on what to do with China and so I'd put him at that spot.

There were some people where it was hard to find a right spot for, especially when they had to battle the star power of people like Angus and Torie for spots in the cabinet. I like to think I got enough people that I'd consider "forum friends", plus a couple of celebrity guest appearances. Honestly, when finding spots for the libertarian-esque posters, it wasn't easy given the ideological differences and they're most kept on the economic side of things. I hope I gave people the right spots. I originally had Yelnoc at Transportation and my excuse was that as a cross country runner, he knew more than most of us about transporting oneself.

White House Press Secretary: Cathcon (R-MI)

Believe me, the press wouldn't be able to get near your administration with me in charge.

...And wow. I'm in a lot of cabinets.

Nathan, I was getting kind of worried when I didn't spot my name in the cabinet, but the ambassadorial appointment makes it well worth it. Smiley Obviously, I'd try to start out subtle, attending meetings of various "Free Ireland" and "End the Monarchy" groups. After that, I'd move onto speaking engagements for said groups until it finally became so humiliating that I'd be recalled and made Ambassador to Russia or something (at which point I'd switch from republicanism to anti-communism as my main talking point).

Excellent! The British cabinet Cassius made looks extremely interesting in terms of characters, I can already picture something like Francis Urquhart's House of Cards (one has to admit the idea of say, Cathcon as the Chief Whip taking out his rivals is fascinating)

I'm flattered, but what leads you to believe I'm either clever enough or vicious enough to properly take out my rivals?

Kalwejt, I'm unsure what would ever qualify me for the position of Secretary/Minister of Defense--even upon completion of any graduate or postgraduate work I might do--but I'm honored nonetheless. My utter lack of a foreign policy "vision" (or rather my possession of too many of them) would lead to a strange and garbled tenure that would no doubt lead Wikipedia readers scratching their heads for years after.
