Okay, so pick your party and say how you would've voted in it's leadership elections.  And yes, you can change your affiliation at one point.  I realize that it took a while for all parties to democratize their leadership elections (the Liberals still haven't, have they?) so use your imagination.  You may have a Quebec edition and an English-Canadian edition as well, I'd you're a Franco-nationalist who'd support the Bloc in Quebec but another party in the other provinces.  I'll start.  As is to be expected, I'd be an NDP member since its inception.
1961: Tommy Douglas
1971: Ed Broadbent first two ballots/John Paul Harney 3rd ballot/David Lewis 4th ballot
1975: Ed Broadbent
1989: Audrey McLaughlin
1995: Hmmm...probably Alexa McDonough.  Would've wanted in my heart to vote for Robinson, but I also would've known that he'd be electoral suicide.
2003: Also difficult.  With hindsight, it'd be Layton without question.  But I also would've liked Ducasse a lot, and I'm a big fan of co-operative economics.  But Ducasse also seemed a bit...goofy, I guess.  So Layton would've gotten my vote in the end.
2011: It would have been a very difficult decision.  I guess I'd have voted Mulcair (since the other candidates would all be electoral suicide except for Cullen, who's joint candidate ideas would've turned me off).  I'm withholding judgement on him right now.
