"the homosexual agenda" in Lawrence v Texas
«
on:
August 10, 2012, 10:57:36 am »
why did Scalia put this in here? even if 'true' in some narrow sense he had to know the word choice was inflammatory, so, was he trolling out?
Today's opinion is the product of a Court, which is the product of a law-profession culture, that has largely signed on to the so-called homosexual agenda, by which I mean the agenda promoted by some homosexual activists directed at eliminating the moral opprobrium that has traditionally attached to homosexual conduct

The actual decision supported by 5 of the justices had absolutely nothing to do with homosexuality, only O'Connor's could be accused of that.

Scalia is an ideological right-wing activist who is incapable of judging cases on their actual constitutional merits.

Antonin Scalia (as well as Thomas) is a troll; we settled this a while ago.

In this case at least, Thomas's opinion was directly related to what he felt to be the actual constitutional merits of the case, rather than his opinion of gays.

Precisely, as Thomas is a hack, not a troll.

Please discuss the fine distinctions between hacks and trolls elsewhere. Since there appears to be no more on-topic discussion... Locking.
