He seems like a good person, but I am not a fan of his economic views and proposals.

I'm a fan.

Despicable human scum. Horrible person.

Jesus, really-  What exactly makes him a creep or a despicable human being? Is it having different views on what is best for this country?  There are some politicians that I do think and understand enmity towards but what has Ryan done.

Hash is a nasty child that exaggerates to get attention. This is common with spoiled brats so I'd be stunned if he wasn't like this.
Are we butthurt already?

Uh...butthurt over what exactly? Are you so uninformed that you think I'm invested in a Romney victory? Haha, jackass. Listen, if you want to burn me, I'm fine with that. I can appreciate a nice jab. However, it helps to have a clue. You clearly don't if you think I am upset that this was a "bad choice."
I think that Santorum loss was implied here.

I like that he's a fitness enthusiast, but his views on Medicare and Social Security scare me.

As a cook and organic buff myself, I'm personally also keen on the fact he makes his own sausage.

Really, what I feel it comes down to is: he's very intelligent, and almost certainly a good person outside of politics(unlike who's leading his ticket), but he's also very misguided on a multitude of issues, particularly when it comes to national security - at least, in my opinion. Ultimately, I'm neutral with perhaps a passing liking of him, but as I've stated before, he is in no way going to convince me to vote for Slimeney.

Makes sense. You know the saying about laws being like sausages - you really don't want to know how they're made exactly?

He uses the specter of out of control deficits to sell a plan that would fund massive tax cuts for the rich through the deaths and impoverishment of millions of poor and elderly Americans.

^^^

Worthy of the guillotine along with the other greedy bastards who 'make' money at the expense of the people.

Maybe. The whole "Jesus Jesus" on television thing is less harmful than gutting the entire welfare state (to the extent that it exists in America.)

I thought that saying was about baloney, though obviously it applies to sausages too. Kolbasa, in Russian. (Obviously, the Polish kielbasa is sausage, but the Russian word for sausage is sasiska).

While I abhor his politics, some of the personal attacks here are going too far. Ryan appears to be decent man who genuinely cares for his country and family. He seems like he's a pretty interesting, nice guy.

Even if I don't necessarily agree with him, he at least has the balls to talk about fixing something that nobody else is really talking about fixing. FF.

I know or know of plenty of "pretty interesting, nice guys." Ryan isn't one of them.
