I would say so. He looks no older than 30. Palin and Quayle both looked slightly younger than they actually were (mid-late 30s perhaps). Kennedy looked his age.

I was thinking about this too. I actually think it may be a disadvantage instead of a advantage.

Standing next to him, it's like he's Romney's son/staffer or something. Considering his sons are the same age as Ryan...

Yes, he looks very young. A bit like a wet noodle. The optics of it didn't work. I'm legitimately concerned about this actually.

Hey now, Snowstalker. As somebody who grows really cruddy facial hair myself (cruddier than his, actually), I actually feel a slight sense of solidarity with Ryan over this.

Must admit to having a slight sense of semi-ironic superiority after seeing that attempt at a beard. lol.

He should go with a soul-patch, goatee, or mustache.
Paul might not live past 56 years because his dad and grandfather died at 56 years age. He's not Jack Kennedy.

I swear to holy hell if I hear that one more time on TV/or somebody else making a post about it I will blow a gasket. That does not mean he will die in office, or at 56. You have made the same stupid claim in at least three posts about his life span in three different threads.

He seems "manly" enough appearance wise. But politically, I agree that his experience, while in my opinion sufficient, should be under scrutiny, as he still is young.

In the vice presidential debate, do you think Joe Biden might become confused and give Paul Ryan a noogie?
