For shua I would probably try to paint him as anti-industrial worker by his generally right-of-center economic views coupled with an environmentalist streak. I would also try to scare suburban housewives by running ads of clips of him speaking out in favor of drug legalization.

For Ben I would need to paint him as a war monger but otherwise general leftist. It would be a strange general election campaign where I'd probably end up running more as a fiscal conservative to highlight economic differences.
