Disabled rights pioneer Lord Morris of Manchester dies

MP for Manchester Wythenshawe 1964-1997 and one of two Labour MPs - the other was Jack Ashley who died earlier this year - who did so much for the disabled from the late 60s onwards. RIP.

The 1960's were a great time for private members bills that really made a difference. A different class of politician.
