Let's see...

A completely repulsive and disgusting excuse for a human being entirely devoid of any redeeming value whatsoever...

or opebo?

Yep, I got to vote for opebo.

Considering Rand would likely not survive the guillotine... The choice is obvious.

Given these options, I'd take the bullet.

Yes, Opebo is the less horrible choice. Still hard to see what you are trying to demonstrate. I mean, you could just as well have come up with "Opebo vs. Hitler".

I would vote for Rand. The idea that opebo would beat Rand in an election in the US, however, is hilarious. Rand would crush him.

Really?  Are you so sure?  In fact I'm as American as apple pie, and a bit of a rake and a cad - not unlike a cross between George Bush and Somerset Maugham.  I think they might like me.  After all Rand was a troll and a creepy character with a thick Russian accent and far more of a dastardly Atheist than I.

Meh. Rand would come off as a sort of Santorum character, with social beliefs all out of whack but otherwise OK (and she would be inevitably moderated even by a Republican-majority Congress), whereas you would be totally unacceptable to basically the entire establishment, with both social and economic beliefs out of whack. Rand would beat you easily; the economic issues would kill you.

What the devil?  Santorum's a christian, so his social views are dominant in the USA.  One thing's for sure, Rand was an astounding unlikable person.

Wait, opebo's economic beliefs are out of whack and would kill him but Rand's aren't? Is the average voter now some sort of extreme social Darwinist who advocates complete abolition of the entire social safety net?  LOL.

WTF. Did you really just compare Ayn Rand to Hitler? I'm not exactly a fan of hers but come on man, this Rand hate is a bit excessive.

Certain of Santorum's views, on things like contraception, are rather not dominant in the USA.

One thing's for sure, Rand was an astounding unlikable person.

Can't recall reading that, but maybe. In any case, your ideology is far enough away from the mainstream that it wouldn't matter.

Wait, opebo's economic beliefs are out of whack and would kill him but Rand's aren't?

Yes. I'm assuming only-two-options election, of course.

Is the average voter now some sort of extreme social Darwinist who advocates complete abolition of the entire social safety net?  LOL.

The average voter is closer to that than to opebo's beliefs.

All opebo wants to do is strengthen the social safety net. People who call him a communist or whatever are just utter hacks who aren't paying attention, opebo has never called for the nationalization of all industry and agriculture or anything along those lines.

Alas he's right, the US electorate is a lot closer to Randianism than to Opeboism, and in point of fact the status quo in the US and the world today is really only different from her philosophy in a few minor details (window dressing).

WTF. Did you really just compare Ayn Rand to Hitler? I'm not exactly a fan of hers but come on man, this Rand hate is a bit excessive.

Not really, buddy.  I always think of them as fairly similar.  The kind of social control and slow genocide we get under the Randian system is really tremendously more effective than Naziism ever was.
