No, I was born in California, as were my parents and all of my grandparents. However, we moved to Washington when I was 3, so I have no memory of living anywhere but in the Pacific Northwest.

Why ? Huh I've always preferred regions to départements, because they have more potentiality to become decentralized powers acting as balances to the central government, because they are more similar to France's historical provinces (with obvious exceptions, before you jump at me and rip my guts off), and because their names are much less silly. I hate the way départements are named.

Good man. I myself defected from the greatest state in the nation at age 17 and have since lived in North Carolina, Austria, New York, and now Pennsylvania over the past 5 1/2 years. Either Colorado or the UK is next in a couple more years...I'm very, very tired of moving.
