I was all set to defend the guy, then I read the article...seems like a peace o' sh**t.  On the other hand, I think I'd find something else to do as well if I had a meeing with Queers Against Israeli Apartheid coming up on the agenda.  That doesn't sound like a fun afternoon.

O, Canada. Our Grassroots Socialist Left Alliance Alternative Queer International Brother-Sister-Genderless (non-racially charged) Hood of Humyn Queer* ACTivists is annoying, but "Queers Against Israeli Apartheid" has no business taking up the mayor of Toronto's time, when he should clearly be shutting down public libraries and they should clearly be hunting down new kaffayehs in op shops down town. As is the order of things.

Quite frankly, Toronto shouldn't even have any Queer* activists standing in solidarity with their totes not homophobic Palestian brethren/sisren/cisren/fellow/lady/friends. Anyways, Rob Ford has been a colossal  up (as expected). He might get impeached for a scandal he's involved in, and he's not polling well. He's still leading with motorists though, but transit/bikers/walkers hate him.
