Clemson Amphitheater - Clemson University - Clemson, SC, IDS

I'm here today at my beloved alma mater for what will likely my one and only campaign event.  I expect to be too busy during the upcoming week to campaign.  However, I expect to have time to be active in the Senate beginning the Wednesday after the election, so I am willing to place my name before the voters.  As Atlasia's greatest Congrssman, John, said, "It's your chose."

I am running as a progressive propellent of productivity and against all nattering Naboos of negativity.  In my previous Senate service I have been responsible for many acts, some small, some large, but none that were genetically modified.  If exiled to the Senate, I shall do my best, except when passing bills related to the sausage industry, in which casing I shall do my wurst.

I thank you in advance for your support.

Just when it didn't look like it could get more competitive in this thing, the bar's been raised again. Best of luck! Smiley

This is the kind of answer I wanted to hear from the candidate.

My endorsement stands.

Watch out, make sure that Nummy doesn't enter. You'll get a high preference from me for sure.

What are your issue positions?  Also, what are your views on the major bills that are currently being debated by the Senate?

Of the current government business, the most glaring problem is with the foreign policy review.  Despite being called a review it wasn't very entertaining, with absolutely no song or dance numbers.  If elected to the Senate, I'll make certain that at the very least that instead of using verbiage to describe our foreign policy, the SoEA is required to use a star system from ★ to ★★★★ for its general assessment purposes.

Also there are far too few minor bills in the Senate these days, with the only one that comes close being the Free Refill Ban Act.  Major bills are are well and good, but our Senate needs some minor bills as well.

What is your position on the Free-Refil Ban Act, now that you mention it?

Also what of the Omnibus Gun Control thingy that Marokai has compiled?

Anyway, you had me worried Ernest. Long life to you! Long long life!

Would your system of star ratings permit half-stars?

It would except the Unicode Conspiracy does not halve stars.

What is your position on the Free-Refil Ban Act, now that you mention it?

I believe that the refill bans should be freed as I am all for freedom.

I wish to thank all who helped make my victory possible.  Of course, as such things are normally counted, votes, it appears it will not be a victory.  Yet thanks to yall, we have have achieved a victory, a victory by the forces of jocularity over the forces of gravity that reminded the people of Atlasia that we need not take this as a totally serious enterprise in order to explore the twists and turns of electoral politics.

Hopefully, next time we can have a traditional victory to go with our non-traditional victory.  I'd like to finish by quoting a famous Texican,  "Courage."

When you said that Governor, you were a Congrssman, and you were the greatest to evr hold that office.  As for Atlasia's greatest Governor, I regret to say that it is not you.
