Mmmm, I really was caught up in the Bush-Gore TL he was working on in 2011, I thought it was fantastic.  The 2012 Board has, not totally of course, but largely, become an exercise in people rooting and not analyzing.  I suppose that's natural enough for election years, though I really don't know if things were this bad on most sides in 2004 and 2008.
