I am wondering if more needs to be done to help voters know about votes going on.  What is your experience?

Due to my current job my personal answer is 1.
However, I understand that it's possible for some people to miss such a vote but I'm not sure whether we can do much more about it. I mean, seven days is a very long time for a vote. Then we have Yankee who always makes a public post on the main board when a vote on an amendment is pending and as Governor I have tried to make the voters aware of these amendments in my office thread.

It is option two for me. I am used to knowing when an amendment will be up to vote in the regions but not when, exactly, the Midwest region will open its polls. Sometimes it takes a day or two for me to realize one has been made.

I used to be completely in touch with all of them, but they've come up for debate with such frequency lately that the significance of them has been reduced, sadly.
