Bump with my positions on Current Bills:

1. Electoral Reform Amendment/Statute
Support (hopefully will be worked out in the Constitutional Convention)
2. Cabinet Officers and Structure Bill
Oppose (unless State and Defense are made separate departments, support in that case)
3. Asset Forfeiture Reform Act
Support
4. Budget Amendment
Oppose
5. Old Glory Act of 2005
Oppose
6. Proposed Modifcations to Family Planning Act
Support, in fact I support scrapping the whole thing
7. Finacing of Mag/Lev Research Act
Support
8. The Environmental Protection and Intermodal Transportation Act
Support with a couple of revisions (and a couple of answered questions)
9. JFK Memorial Bill
Support
10. Unwed and Teenage Mothers Protection Act
Support with suggested changes by John Dibble
11. Military Division Appropriation Bill
Support
12. Urban Regeneration Bill
Oppose

I also support the nomination of King to Secretary of the Treasury.

... my positions on Current Bills:

12. Urban Regeneration Bill
Undecided (with questions needing to be answered), leaning towards Oppose

It's always nice to see a candidate whose default position on spending bills is to oppose them until they are convinced that they are a good idea.

Sam do you support the Concealed weapons act?

Personally, I think it should be a regional issue, States, not a federal issue.

That being said, I think either you, or anyone else in the Southeast who has the text of the amendment should put the amendment up for the next regional initiative ballot.

I would certainly support it.

bump, with new list of Sam Spade stances on present bills up in the Senate. (removed some old, defeated or passed ones, added some new ones)

1. Cabinet Officers and Structure Bill
Oppose (unless State and Defense are made separate departments, support in that case)
2. The Environmental Protection and Intermodal Transportation Act
Support with a couple of revisions (and a couple of answered questions)
3. JFK Memorial Bill
Support
4. Unwed and Teenage Mothers Protection Act
Support (with suggested changes by John Dibble as being very important to me)
5. Urban Regeneration Bill
Oppose
6. Senate Procedural Resolution
Support (Jake's version of this resolution, specifically)
7. Another Military Division Appropriations Bill
Support
8. Atlasia National Tax Act
Oppose (based on Sec. King's inability to specify revenue details with regards to tax changes)
9. Cuba Relations Act
Support (but only with help from Presidential, Sec. of State realm)
10. Fair Wage and Community Revitalization Act
Oppose (may support if minimum wage hike is gone from bill)
11. Protection of Children Act
Support (with John Dibble's necessary revisions)

If I have missed any important new bill, please let me know and I will be happy to let you know my opinion on it.
