I get everyone on the list...except for Rodgers. What she doin' here?

Also is sticking the divisive/unpopular partisans (Scott, Priebus, Paul and to a lesser extent Boehner) in the early timeslots a common thing?

Nowadays, the broadcast networks only cover the last hour of primetime for each night of the conventions, so only the last few names on this list will have any reasonably sized audience.  The person who'll be considered the main featured speaker for Monday night will be Ann Romney, and the wording on their press release reflects that.

I'm guessing that "musical act" is a placeholder so that they can time that one hour of primetime coverage to begin will Haley, and then Huckabee, then Mrs. Fortuno giving a short introduction to Ann Romney or something, with Ann's speech ending just at the end of the network coverage for the night.

Thursday night schedule has been announced as well, and posted in the OP.

I'll sticky this thread for now, though if one of the other 2012 mods wants to unsticky it now or next week, that's fine with me.  I'll be traveling next week, so won't be as active, and I leave it up to BK and Andrew to sort out how to handle convention week commentary.

Because the Big Three aren't covering the convention on Monday night, word is that it's likely that Ann Romney's speech will be moved to Tuesday. I imagine she'd speak either right before or after Christie. That may move people like Santorum to Monday (which I guess doesn't really matter since he wouldn't be going on between 10-11/not be seen on ABC, NBC or CBS anyway but I wanted him and Christie to speak on the same night).

Now it looks like Ann might be moved to Thursday to introduce Romney, and Rubio would get bumped to Tuesday (thereby bumping someone else to Monday):

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/rubio-be-bumped_650742.html

In any case, as I think I mentioned, I'll be traveling this week (leaving for the airport later today), so if the schedule changes, ask one of the other mods to edit my OP with the change.

Ann's been moved to Tuesday night and Martinez to Wednesday:

http://www.politico.com/blogs/burns-haberman/2012/08/ann-romneys-speech-moved-to-tuesday-133151.html?hp=l2

No word on what the exact order will be, or who'll be moved out of Wednesday to make room for Martinez.

Also, here's the entertainment lineup:

After the shuffling took place, here's what we're left with in terms of the hour or so that'll be covered by the broadcast networks each night except Monday:

So Huckabee will be the headliner on Monday now, I guess? lol.

Yes, my suggestion to Huckabee is not to talk about how people who think rape victims can't get pregnant should be put in charge of a state's Department of Health:
