The last 4 years have had high unemployment, do you think 4 more years of the Obama administration would bring down unemployment?

I don't want it to for obvious reasons.  The unemployment rate might stay stagnate around 7.5%-9% another 4 years.

Unemployment isn't budging by any real amount until the federal government pours borrowed money into the economy.

I doubt any president can make a dent in the unemployment rate thus far.  If Romney can promise us 3 million new jobs from just the oil industry alone, that would be awesome.

There's a good chance the unemployment rate drops below 8 percent by the end of the year.

No, which is why it is essential that Romney wins the election, to create jobs and rescue the nation from disaster.

Don't you think that is kind of naive to suggest that employment rates would change with another President?

Do you think that Obama & co. want high unemployment because they are stupid and evil and they hate America?

How do we know that it won't go down as consumer confidence increases and when the public sector quits hemorrhaging away jobs?

There isn't going to be another speculative boom for a couple decades.

It was supposed to be around 6%.

Of course not. Everybody knows that Republicans' first act in office will be to lay off all US Residents except party executives and their kin and special friends, driving unemployment to 99% for the duration of the term.

Honestly, high single digit unemployment is probably here to stay for the rest of the 2010s no matter who's in the White House.  No one likes this.
