According to polling, Richard Carmona is really giving the Republicans a run for their money. He's tied in all recent polling, except Rasmussen for some reason.
Why is this race not getting more attention? Does this race have the potential to put the state into play? And might Cardona, at least if he wins, have a future in the party in some form of higher office?

Why and how would he over perform Romney. From what I've read the primary with Cardon is hurting him, badly.

Cardon stopped running ads weeks ago. Flake will mop up in the primary and win the general without too much of a fuss.
