Goldy, you have 24 hours to advocate for this bill or it goes bye-bye. Debate will last for 48 hours.

I'm OK with that.

Goldwater, is the amendment friendly? And also, are you going to speak in favor of the bill?

Yes, the Governor's amendment is friendly. The reason I created this bill was to avoid disputes that could arise from the current wording of the amendment, like what happened during this most recent election, but I support the Governor's idea to also include synchronizing our elections with federal elections in this amendment, because it will be simpler than going through the trouble of creating and debating a second amendment dealing with the date of the elections.

I'll also announce I support this amendment because it will avoid any future disputes, and, more importantly to me, by synchronising election dates we can hopefully piggyback off the at large elections, doing something to improve the woeful turn out levels of last weeks ones.

I note that the speicial election, which was rather hyped up, got far more voters than the general.

And where's Funk?

Retroactively extending debate time to now. *looks at watch* Well, debate time's over.

Representatives will vote Aye, Nay, or Abstain on the final text:

With four votes in favor and one member not present, the amendment passes.
