Two days.

This is the first ballot of a mock Democratic convention in 1972. As no candidate received a majority in the primary thread, candidates with one or zero votes were eliminated. Following this thread, if no candidate has a majority of the vote, there will be another ballot, and so on until we reach a final candidate to face off in a general election poll against Republican nominee Pete McCloskey (R-Calif.)

I forgot to add Shirley Chisholm. If you want to vote Chisholm, that's fine. Just do it as a 'write-in'. The only 'write-in' allowed will be Chisholm.

Muskie for president! He doesn't seem as unelectable as McGovern, he's not the same old boring real-life 1968 nominee like Humphrey (though Humphrey would be my third choice), he's not a long-shot like Sanford (Sanford would be my second choice), and he's not a militaristic loon like Jackson.

My favorite ticket would be Muskie/Sanford.

No idea.  I'm a Republican, but maybe McGovern.
