This may sound superficial... I am glad to see Mitt wearing a red tie for once. The man looks like a President!

If Clint Eastwood were twenty years younger, they'd now be a lot of hype about him as a future presidential contender.

"I am a 5'4 Mexican-American from Southern California."

Strong applause. I wonder which part got the most applause. I suspect 5'4. >_>

Diane Sawyer had a hart hitting interview with Paul Ryan, asking him what his mom said to him last night and then talked about family photos. Journalism!

Hey, at least it was probably better than Obama's interview with Entertainment Tonight.

lol, journalism.

It looks like the RNC has banned small vendors from the convention site:

http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2012/08/30/kcbs-exclusive-small-vendors-barred-from-republican-national-convention-by-romney-campaign/

I thought they liked small businesses.  Sad

We should do away with the traditional red ties, a black tie is better in a black suit.

False equivalence at it's best.

One is ABC news, while the other is Entertainment Tonight.

Seriously, are you really this much of a hack?

Maybe they didn't want to have more foot traffic around the area? They should of let them sell stuff nearby.

Have I missed it? Wasn't there supposed to be some "huge" thing from Trump?

Apparently the Trump "surprise" was part of what was lost on Monday.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/27/donald-trump-rnc-surprise_n_1833142.html

I think it was a video with Trump "firing" an Obama impersonator. Which would have been laughably lame, so they dodged a bullet with that one.

I can never get over the 5 sons thing. I think my dad put it best -

"Whoa. Romney has 5 sons? He is a very successful man."

"Success? What about Bain and making millions of dollars."

"Oh. Yeah. That thing. Uh, sure I guess that too."

What a photo... I was not a fan of his father but having never met my own father, I can only imagine the emotion of this moment-knowing his father is watching him now
