The support is flattering!

May I suggest merely lowering the standard instead of abolishing it? We have activity requirements for other offices, too, so it would make the law rather inconsistent.

imo, The People ought to have the freedom to vote for whomever they please. If the candidate really isn't active enough, people won't vote for him/her.
This is the same reason I support the abolition of candidate residency requirements.

Fair enough. At worst, this is definitely worth discussing at the Federal level.

I am going to be a Senator now, so I guess my conflict of interest has subsided somewhat, at least on the selection of maps for consolidation.
