I thought Ryan did better. Romney speech was boring. I'm not sure how much of a bounce he's gonna get. Likely 2-3pts and will be back to even by the end of next week.

Ryan was better obviously but not good enough to make a significant impact.

He's certainly a better choice than Portman and Pawlenty though. Their speeches were brutally boring and unremarkable just like you'd expect, but the likes of Martinez, Rubio, and Rice could have been electric game changing running mates.

Paul Ryan had a better presence and delivery. He seemed very natural giving his speech. However, Mitt Romney is always robotic and awkward.

Romney. Easily. I mean, Ryan probably fired up the ideological foot troops a lot more and maybe people concerned with political ideology. But Romney's speech captured the zeitgeist of the era, by appealing to the large proportion of Americans who are outraged by their children's diminishing future.

Paul Ryan is simply a more convincing liar.

Ryan's speech was filled with lies but had good delivery, which is probably better than a totally hollow speech.
