I'm worried by Lincoln's choice of running mate, so I vote FDR instead.

I voted for TR and Anderson. I didn't want FDR ahead of Truman or Reagan as a VP.

Either TR or FDR...I like Anderson better than Truman...

I'm gonna have to think about this one.

Its awful to have to vote for Lincoln, but I guess Reagan is supposed to be his VP?  Well, better than the alternatives.

Why is voting for Lincoln awful?

Great wartime leader, signed the legislation that allowed the construction of the transcontinental railroad.  Also signed the Homestead Act.

OK, he was a good president.  Just not my favorite.  I'm a bit conflicted about the Civil War.

The Transcontinental Railroad legislation is one of the biggest corporate welfare packages in history. (It was necessary anyways, though it might have been better if honest men had paid more attention to the details and dishonest men less...)
And the Homestead Act - shouldn't Opebo consider that rank Socialism?

Oh, I just find the idea of being able to secede appealing, though I know maintaining the union may have been good in the long run.
