Michelle Obama is going to run for Senate in Illinois 2016? I mean, I like her, and I hope she does, as that would be a great pickup opportunity for Dems (presuming that Mark Kirk doesn't resign because of his stroke) but it's really unlikely, IMO.

Well, there isn't really much speculation and for good reason. She is known to dislike politics despite making some good political performances.

I saw a yahoo article on this subject, and many on the forum are discussing it. It is a rumor we should address.

It'd be an instant pick-up for the Democrats, but I don't think she'd do it. She seems to dislike politics and I think she's looking forward to January 20, 2017.

I don't think you can really compare Atlas members to Holocaust deniers, but my first pick would be Kalwejt, along with Franzl, a Person, and Leif.

I think she will likely buy a house in California in 2015 so she can run for Senate there in 2016. She will be called a carpetbagger but still win narrowly. She will win in a landslide in 2022. Then in 2024 she will announce she is running for president and dominate in most primary polls, until some pesky young senator wins Iowa with an enthusiastic youth vote.

How about this time it's a young senator from Hawaii who was born in Illinois? And he's Native Hawaiian!

No, no, a young senator from New York who was born in Arkansas.

Nah, I get that you're referencing Hilliary, but we've had too many prominent New Yorker politicians already. Let's have some geographical diversity.
