That seems most likely.

On a personal note I really don't care for these mystery speaker things. It's a sideshow and makes the conventions have almost an E-Hollywood feel to them.

That's where you're wrong. In taking God out of the platform and removing Jerusalem as captial of israel from their platform they showed themselves intolerant of Christians and Jews. The last virtue in a society prior to its fall is tolerance. Unless they are Christians.
