Good lord, this forum should really stop talking about women. It's embarrassing.

Misogynistic bastards, aren't we, friend Smiley

misogyny is one thing -- it dies hard, but more bothersome is the extreme inanity and the repeat fire at the easy target (sexualizing Fluke).

Yeah, these guys make me embarrassed to be a misogynist.  Guys, there are plenty of real reasons to dislike women, but the request for socialized birth control is obviously reasonable.

The people that use it should pay for it.

Your ideas about individual volition and economics are delusions, J.J.  The individual volition that you imagine is not real at all, and if there were ever a case where that should be clear to anyone it is the epidemiological one.

Why is this so hard for Republicans?

Free birth control for poor women costs MUCH less than paying for poor children's health care, education, etc.  Even moreso if the woman is on welfare, since statistically the child is likely to be too when he/she grows up.  Opposing free birth control pills is supporting higher welfare spending.

Also, it will lower the abortion rate.  Opposing free birth control pills is supporting a higher abortion rate.

This one is basic math, with an added anti-abortion benefit.  It is mind boggling that Republicans are so against it.

Add epidemiology to the long list of sciences which they willfully refuse to understand Harry.
